Amazing First Two Weeks

Logan James has arrived! He came into this world January 23, 2012 at 1:23 pm at a whopping 8 lbs 11.5 oz 20 3/4 inches long. One minor set back is his broken collar bone but he has been so tough and the doctor said it will easily heal with time. Weston is still in his own world and doesn't really pay much attention to Logan but I don't mind as long as they are both happy. They soon will be best friends. I'm sure of it. My parents have been visiting and it has been wonderful. They have made the transition from a family of 3 to 4 a piece of cake. Hopefully I can keep the momentum going when they're gone.

The Feather Sound neighborhood park is just around the corner. A 10 minute walk once I get back into shape but a 1 minute drive for now.

The Trip to Nowhere

So I get a Groupon for some pizza at a place called the Black Dog Market. Um, it took us about 30 minutes to get there and it ended up being a mini grocery with a few tables. The oven wasn't even working and we ended up waiting 40 minutes for pizza that wasnt good. So funny. It was good family time though and we left with smiles on our faces none the less.

Breakfast with Santa and a Train Ride at the Zoo

Breakfast with Santa was a lot of fun with all the chaos of the cousins. Weston still doesn't quite get the whole concept of Christmas but maybe next year. He still had a good time with mom and daddy, maymie and pappy, and all the rest of clan. Food was delicious too. We decided to take a trip to the zoo afterwards so Weston could show daddy the fun train ride. I think they both enjoyed it. :)

Trunk or Treat 2011

Weston was so stinkin' cute in his skunk costume. I had a blast decorating our trunk to go with the theme of his costume. Its amazing what you can do on a tight budget with a little creativity.

Trains! at Cheekwood

We visited the beautiful grounds of Cheekwood this morning and it sure was exciting. Weston loved the Trains! exhibit. Ran around yelling "trains!" the whole time. Absoluetly an amazing piece of work and so many man hours had to be put in to put it together. I sure hope they bring it back next year.

Walden Farm

We had so much fun at the Walden Pumpkin Farm. The weather was sunny and a perfect 75 degrees. My little hard worker wanted to pick up all the pumpkins and put them in the wagon all by himself. He loved watching the Pumpkin train go by, going through the hay maze with daddy, and checking out all the animals. What a wonderful fall excursion. I'm 23 weeks, feeling great, and lovin' my growing belly. Now if I could just come up with a good name for this little guy.

September Outings- Love this weather!

70s, sunny and feelin good. We went to a bunch of parks, the zoo and visited our good friends Dean and Hudson. Weston turned 17 months this month and mommy is loving every minute of his sweet and curious personality. He's got a lot of words, a strong left throw (watch out), and a kiss to die for.

Horse Day!

Weston experienced his first time on a horse. Seemed pretty confident and comfortable. I hope he likes animals as much as me and someday will ride some horses of his own.
